Are you a Registered Nurse with recent perioperative theatre experience, ready to build your skills in one of the most technically demanding surgical specialties? Macquarie University Hospital, located on the Wallumattagal Campus in North Ryde, is seeking skilled Registered Nurses to join our specialised Neurosurgery and Spinal team across a number of permanent full-time and part-time vacancies.

What matters most is sound clinical capability and recent operating theatre experience, along with a willingness to learn. Extensive training, structured orientation and ongoing development are provided, so you can grow your specialty expertise with the support of an experienced perioperative team.
This is an opportunity to deepen your practice in complex cranial and spinal surgery within Australia's only university-owned academic hospital, delivering specialist perioperative care in a state-of-the-art theatre environment alongside surgeons, anaesthetists and a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to exceptional patient outcomes.
About the Role
Reporting to the Nursing Unit Manager (Theatres), you will support complex neurosurgical and spinal procedures, ensuring safe, patient-centred care across all phases of the perioperative journey.
